Radiating Style is a London based designer radiator retailer that has been established over 28 years ago and has seen technological changes during that time. They have been trading online since 2003 and have been transitioning to being mainly an online business.

After having upgraded their website to an ecommerce platform in 2011, issues were starting to appear both with functionality and security. In 2012 we were asked to look at the best way to solve the issue and how we provide ease of to have a stable solution and secure. Now in 2020 we have upgraded the website and introduced a new design to support the brand and audience.

Redesign and rebuild in Magento

We had to be direct and new it would be hard to take in that a website is the best fit for the type of service and that it had a lot of security issues that were slow to be addressed. True to our analysis we reflected as well that the design did not reflect the business and its style, it was not branded and would suggest an alternative with a new platform - all had to be within budget.

The solution we went for was to offer the best open source ecommerce platform at the time Magento, provided a new design and created custom banners to be on brand. With all the additional features to help with the specific demands of the clients workflow.

As the version of Magento is nearing it’s EOL (End of Life) stage we have redesigned a new website, We provided a stable solution that lasted 8 years and delivered the workflow expected.

Extending the lifespan with regular maintenance

Our client also understands the crucial part that having a website maintained and especially an ecommerce one is a must for their business. Peace of mind has to be on all fronts, from the website being up to date and as it is with the server that is hosting it.
